He holds up the new Nano. It’s thin, but wide (fat) at the same time. The rumors were true! It comes in black, silver, blue, green, and (product) red. The screen takes up half the front, and has a 2.0-inch diagonal measurement.

The screen still has 320×240 (204 ppi) and supports the same resolution as the iPod Videos. There’s a changed UI as well, showing you album art, videos, photos, and extra stuff on the right hand side (takes up half the screen). Also, Cover Flow, which is controlled with the touchwheel on the bottom. Yes, the touchwheel is still there on the Nano.

Three games will be bundled with the iPod Nano. One, vortex, which is like a 3D circular Arkanoid. Some other games are coming from EA (Sudoku), complete with Asian porn music.

When you’re browsing the main menu (which only takes up the left half of the screen), the right hand side displays a sample of whatever section you’re browsing. Music shows random album art, video shows a snip from the video, and photos show a photo.

Movies similar. Drill down into the videos menu, and bring up the videos like the Video iPod does. Steve shows off a clip from the Daily Show with John Hodgman and his net neutrality bit when he says he’s a PC.
